After recent spring-like weather, Willamette Valley residents should brace for some colder temperatures coming Sunday into next week.
There could even be some snow in lower elevations early Monday morning according to the National Weather Service.
Jeremiah Pyle is with the agency in Portland.
He says to expect rain Saturday and Sunday early. “But, as we get into Sunday night and early Monday, any precipitation that’s remaining has the potential to fall as snow down to the lowest elevations.”
Pyle says higher elevations will get more snow. This is good news for Oregon’s ski resorts. Pyle says next week the cold temperatures will stick around with overnight lows in the mid-20s.
